Our clients are market leaders in the Manufacturing industry and due to recent growth within the business they are now looking to recruit an expereinced Customer Services Professional to join them at their busy offices based on Winsford Industrial Estate.

The primary purpose of the role is to deliver excellent levels of customer services, to meet and where possible exceed the needs of our clients customers with regards to enquiries, order confirmation, order status, pricing, delivery information and complaint handling.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Enter customer orders onto system ensuring data is accurate and relevant to customer requirements.
  • Advise customers on product suitability upon receipt of enquiries (with reference to technical support as necessary).
  • Advise and agree prices with customers within specified guidelines to achieve target contribution margins.
  • Advise and agree delivery dates (with reference to Production Planners) and inform customers of anticipated variances as necessary.
  • Manage Finished Goods inventories to achieve agreed targets.
  • Monitor order intake and dispatches to ensure sales volume targets are achieved.
  • Advise Senior Managers of major variances in demand and proactively chase orders to meet budget sales volumes.
  • Implement corrective actions within the enquiry/order entry/dispatch process to ensure continuous improvement of the customer services function: on time delivery performance, lead times, response times to enquiries, documentation accuracy, both internal and external.
  • To deal with customer complaints/credits, and associated documentation (with reference to technical department).
  • To raise technical specifications and sample/trial justifications.
  • Work closely with appropriate External Representatives ensuring that they are aware of sales status, highlighting issues that require attention.
  • To contact current and potential customers to advise each of products availability, new products development, promotions etc., with the aim of securing additional business in accordance with specific guidelines.
  • To highlight to External Sales Representatives/Senior Managers potential long-term opportunities raised during telesales communications.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record working within a customer Services role, you will be able to demonstrate where you have gone above and beyond to ensure customer satisfaction and be a polite and efficient communicator at all times.
