Our clients are a leading provider of Outsourced Business solutions and due to recent growth within the business they are now looking to recruit an experienced HR Business Manager to work within the Membership Engagement Team.


The successful candidate will be responsible for providing advice and support to small businesses on a variety of general HR Queries. You will also be responsible for managing and developing the current Member Engagement Team.


Main Duties:

Member Support

  • Provide telephone advice and support to members across a broad spectrum of business areas and service provision needs
  • During interactions with members identify opportunities for referrals to appropriate affiliate companies and opportunities to promote and upsell other products.
  • To attend company and other events to maximise members and non-member support, sales and sales lead opportunities.
  • Pass insurance claim or potential claim calls to the external legal team
  • Maintain and update the client database and other recording systems incorporating the required information gained from client interactions.

Recruitment and Retention

  • Develops proactive relationship with other departments within the business, keeping them informed on local activities and highlighting opportunities
  • Identify suitable case studies to be used to effectively market the benefits of membership to new and existing members.
  • Create greater awareness of the company’s products, services and membership benefits by promoting these locally amongst members and the wider business community.

General Responsibilities:

  • To undertake other duties consistent with the scope of the post and within the competence of the post holder as required.
  • Comply with the requirements and procedures of the company in relation to administrative and financial processes.
  • Be responsible for the personal development of the member engagement team linked to business objectives.
  • Meet statutory responsibility with regards Equal Opportunities, Health and Safety, Data Protection and other relevant legislation and company rules
  • Act as an ambassador of the company creating a positive and professional image to current and prospective stakeholders and customers.

The ideal candidate will possess the following skills/ attributes:

  • Appropriate HR Qualification
  • Professional business-related qualification e.g. CIPD, ILM, helpline experience, Management experience.
  • Recent previous experience providing advice across a broad spectrum of business issues especially HR issues.
  • Previous experience providing advice to businesses across a range of business lifecycles, small business, private and family firms.
