Our client are a leading, local company who supply advice and support to a range of other businesses and due to recent growth of the company they are now looking to recruit an experienced Payroll Assistant to work from there Northwich base of operation.

The successful candidate will be responsible for undertaking a range of Payroll activities of behalf of other companies which will include, but are not limited to the following:

  • Accurately processing weekly and monthly payrolls for clients
  • Answering payroll queries
  • Liaising with HMRC on behalf of clients
  • Reconciling internal monitoring systems

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years experience working within a high volume payroll department and have excellent IT Skills, particularly in the use of Sage Payroll and Excel. A good working knowledge of Statutory Maternity/ Paternity Pay, Statutory Sick Pay and also Auto- enrollment.
