Job: Merchandiser/ Demand Planner

Our client are an up and coming online store and due to recent rapid growth and expansion of the company they are now looking to recruit a Merchandiser/ Demand Planner to work from there Northwich base of operations.

The successful candidate will be responsible for the following key duties:

• To build a product hierarchy which is suitable for all areas of the business.
• To work closely with the Marketing and Commercial teams, create a SKU level forecast ensuring alignment with business direction and consistency with market trends.
• using numerous reporting and analytical techniques, monitor the demand forecast on a weekly basis and make changes where necessary.
• To analyse sales performance vs. forecast and suggest ways of improving accuracy.

The ideal candidate will be degree level educated and this role would be ideal for a recent business graduate, you will have excellent advanced level knowledge of MS Excel, including complex formulas and be commercially astute. Experience within FMCG would be beneficial but not essential.
