Our client is seeking an administrator to work within the food standards department of the business.

You will work with key partners to ensure that food safety requirements are accurately administered in a timely manner, provide basic food safety requirements advice to key stakeholders, and direct detailed technical questions to the Food Safety Team.

This is an initial permanent role .

What you need to know about this position:

• Administration for food safety assessments of materials and specification approvals across all regions and categories
• Collate, manage and interpret supplier information to support with providing the relevant food safety requirements
• Consult with managers on any information concerning food safety data in the specification.
• Search external database for regulatory food safety requirements.
• Review regulations/citations across multiple regions and validate the information with regional regulatory/food safety teams.
• Build food safety specifications in SAP PLM (SAP based specification system) to facilitate the transfer of Food Safety data into relevant specifications.
• Manage the Food Safety SharePoint site to ensure that all data (Scientific journals, toxicology statements, government documents, internal studies etc) is collated in a logical framework.

Education / Certifications:

Food Technology/Food Safety related degree.
