Title Payroll Administrator
Salary £24-26K
Location South Manchester

Our client are seeking a Payroll Administrator to work in small payroll team.

Key Responsibilities

  • manage payroll workload to meet operational requirements
  • ensure payroll is processed in an accurate, compliant and timely manner
  • preparation of payroll related documents
  • administer benefit plans
  • oversee compliance with statutory reporting and filing requirements
  • prepare relevant reports
  • process staff appointments and terminations on system
  • ensure all payroll information and records are maintained in accordance with statutory requirements
  • process payroll checks
  • manage and resolve issues relating to payroll

Education and Experience

  • experience working in a payroll team/department (essential)
  • knowledge and experience of payroll calculation and processing
  • proficiency in relevant payroll and accounting software
