Job: Customer Service and Logistics Advisor

Our client are a leading transportation company and due to growth within the business they are now looking to recruit an experienced Customer Services and Logistics Advisor.

You will be working across the sales and logistics team, providing administrative support and maintaining excellent communication between the company and the customers.

Reporting to the Sales Manager and also the Logistics Manager your role will include the following main responsibilities:

Customer Service

  • Taking customer bookings
  • Customer Service contact
  • Troubleshooting


  • Support in managing the fleet of drivers
  • Training to supervise the Sales and Marketing Office
  • Planning Sales and Marketing strategies


  • Sales and Business Development statistical reporting
  • Customer Paperwork
  • Supporting Credit Control

The ideal candidate will possess the required skills and experience to undertake and thrive in this role including:

  • Excellent communication skills are essential as you must be confident, assertive and polite in order to deal with a variety of types of customer and staff
  • an eye for detail and precision to meet the administrative requirements of the sector and most demanding customers
    • Ability to think outside the box and innovate to solve customer led requests and operational requirements.
