Sales Coordinator

Howard James Recruitment is seeking an ambitious and enthusiastic individual to join a busy sales desk for a growing, dynamic business. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment, handling customer enquiries, purchase orders, and supporting the timely dispatch of goods.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver outstanding customer service, acting as the voice of the business.
- Manage incoming calls and emails efficiently, following up on customer quotes.
- Build strong relationships with customers, freight providers, and distributors.
- Obtain freight quotes for air, sea, and road shipments worldwide.
- Prepare sales documentation, commercial invoices, and manage dispatch paperwork.
- Work closely with the warehouse team to ensure timely order fulfilment.
- Input and manage sales orders, pricing, and customer account information using Sage or similar systems.
- Track shipments and provide after-sales support.
- Produce daily work-to-list reports and actively participate in team briefs.
- Support marketing activities, including mailers and customer contact list creation.
- Collaborate with the Sales Director to drive orders and identify new business opportunities.
- Maintain and utilise CRM systems and shared IT resources efficiently.
- Work proactively as part of a team and independently when required.

- Excellent Excel and IT skills; experience with Sage or other accounting systems advantageous.
