As they continue to expand, they’re seeking a versatile and enthusiastic Business Support Executive to help streamline operations, support marketing and sales initiatives, and play a vital role in driving the next stage of growth.
The Role
This is a hands-on, varied role that combines administration, marketing, sales support, and process improvement. You’ll be working closely with a small, forward-thinking team — helping to enhance productivity, manage day-to-day operations, and support business development activities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Review and improve administrative workflows to maximise efficiency and productivity
- Manage scheduling, emails, and client documentation to ensure smooth day-to-day operations
- Create and schedule engaging content for social media channels (LinkedIn, X/Twitter, Facebook)
- Support marketing activity through email campaigns, newsletters, and promotional content
- Assist the sales process — from lead qualification to preparing proposals and following up with prospects
- Coordinate with suppliers, assist with event organisation, and provide ad-hoc business support where needed
About You
You’ll be proactive, adaptable, and comfortable wearing many hats — the kind of person who spots opportunities to make things work better and takes ownership to make them happen.
Essential Skills & Attributes:
- A positive, “can-do” attitude and a genuine passion for helping a business grow
- Strong communication skills (both written and verbal)
- Organised, detail-focused, and confident managing multiple priorities
- Experience in admin, marketing, social media, or sales support
- Competent with Microsoft Office and familiar with general office systems or CRMs
- Able to think on your feet, solve problems, and work independently
- Full UK driving licence and access to a car (for occasional client meetings or events)
- Eligible to work in the UK
Desirable:
- Experience in a small business or IT/technology environment
- Knowledge of tools such as Trello, Asana, Mailchimp, or Canva
- Understanding of SEO or process automation tools (training can be provided)
