Business Support Executive

Knutsford

About the Company

Our client is a dynamic, fast-growing managed services business providing innovative IT and technology solutions to companies across the UK. With a close-knit team and a startup-style energy, they’re driven by passion, innovation, and a commitment to exceptional service.

As they continue to expand, they’re seeking a versatile and enthusiastic Business Support Executive to help streamline operations, support marketing and sales initiatives, and play a vital role in driving the next stage of growth.

The Role

This is a hands-on, varied role that combines administration, marketing, sales support, and process improvement. You’ll be working closely with a small, forward-thinking team — helping to enhance productivity, manage day-to-day operations, and support business development activities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Review and improve administrative workflows to maximise efficiency and productivity
  • Manage scheduling, emails, and client documentation to ensure smooth day-to-day operations
  • Create and schedule engaging content for social media channels (LinkedIn, X/Twitter, Facebook)
  • Support marketing activity through email campaigns, newsletters, and promotional content
  • Assist the sales process — from lead qualification to preparing proposals and following up with prospects
  • Coordinate with suppliers, assist with event organisation, and provide ad-hoc business support where needed

About You

You’ll be proactive, adaptable, and comfortable wearing many hats — the kind of person who spots opportunities to make things work better and takes ownership to make them happen.

Essential Skills & Attributes:

  • A positive, “can-do” attitude and a genuine passion for helping a business grow
  • Strong communication skills (both written and verbal)
  • Organised, detail-focused, and confident managing multiple priorities
  • Experience in admin, marketing, social media, or sales support
  • Competent with Microsoft Office and familiar with general office systems or CRMs
  • Able to think on your feet, solve problems, and work independently
  • Full UK driving licence and access to a car (for occasional client meetings or events)
  • Eligible to work in the UK

Desirable:

  • Experience in a small business or IT/technology environment
  • Knowledge of tools such as Trello, Asana, Mailchimp, or Canva
  • Understanding of SEO or process automation tools (training can be provided)

What’s on Offer

  • Salary up to £25,000 per annum (pro-rata for part-time)
  • Performance-based bonus structure
  • Flexible working options – mix of remote, office, and client-based work
  • 28 days annual leave (including bank holidays)
  • Supportive, friendly team environment with plenty of autonomy
  • Ongoing professional development and career progression opportunities
  • Mileage allowance for business travel
