Payroll Officer

Howard James Recruitment is seeking an experienced Payroll Officer to join a thriving Northwich-based team. This is a fantastic opportunity to manage end-to-end payroll for a diverse client base while working in a supportive and collaborative environment.

Take ownership of full payroll processing, including Auto Enrolment

Build strong relationships with clients, HMRC, and third-party providers

What You’ll Need:

Proven payroll experience (accountancy practice experience a bonus but not essential)

Strong knowledge of payroll legislation and Auto Enrolment

Ability to manually calculate payroll

Experience with Sage 50cloud Payroll or BrightPay preferred

Excellent communication, organisational, and time-management skills

Self-motivated with a proactive, positive attitude

Benefits:

Competitive salary: £30,000-£33,000 (DOE)
