Our client is a local commercial vehicle repair centre and due to growth of the business they are looking to recruit an experienced receptionist to work 16 hours a week.
The successful candidate will be responsible for the following:
- To answer the telephone, dealing with customer requirements for vehicle repairs in an efficient and courteous manner to ensure that the high standards are always provided.
- To greet and assist visitors.
- To ensure customer requirements are fully understood and communicated in an efficient manner.
- To record vehicle details accurately and effectively operate a customer follow up system.
- Calculate accurate charges for all parts, labour, materials and other repair costs and provide customer estimates should they be required.
- Promptly prepare and present invoices following completion of work, ensuring all work has been carried out as detailed and charged for and obtain payment in line with company procedures.
The ideal candidate will possess the following skills/ attributes:
- A good telephone manner.
- The ability to multitask and be detail orientated.
- Have previous reception experience.
- Be computer literate.
- Be client facing and professional.
